LaQuinta Pollard was born on June 23, 1977 in Waco, Texas, the second daughter to Kenneth and Susan Pollard.  At the age of 14, her family moved to Abilene, Texas, where she attended Cooper High School, excelled in volleyball and basketball, and graduated class of 1995.  Once again her family moved to Austin, Texas, where her son, Avery was born.  Soon after his birth, she gave her life to Jesus Christ and began the journey to becoming the strong Christian woman she is today.

Like a tree planted by the water- her roots run deep.  LaQuinta’s love and passion for Christ exudes through her gift of song, writing and teaching.  As a young woman, she is dedicated to helping others pursue excellence.  She has made many sacrifices in her life to help, inspire and cultivate the many talents God has blessed her with.  Her enthusiasm to be used by God drives her to study His word.  Her uncompromising relationship and committment to Christ will create an environment that sets the stage for a wonderful move of God in the lives of those in her presence.

There is so much more to say, however, will conclude by saying that LaQuinta's strength, perseverance and uncompromising commitment to her relationship with Christ capture the very essence of who she is.  She is a woman of her word and always greets you with a smile.  She is truly a woman of excellence, who loves and serves the Lord and others with her whole heart.
